Our Programs
Our primary objective is to implement preventive programs to curve violence in the Back of the Yards neighborhood and neighboring communities. We offer a variety of programs and services for youth and families.
ARTS PROGRAM
Youth participate in mural projects over the summer. The mural projects help the youth develop their social and art skills. The program also beautifies the community and gives the residents a sense of neighborhood pride.
PARENT LEADERSHIP COLLABORATIVE
Parents organize wellness activities for adult residents and promote a safe and peaceful community through proactive strategies.
HEALTH & SPORTS
Since our inception we have offered a soccer program, which has served over 3,000 children and youth from various high crime areas such as Englewood, Back of the Yards, Brighton Park, New City and McKinley Park.
MENTORING & LEADERSHIP
Mentors provide guidance and support to students 5th thru 12th grades. Students participate in community service projects such as volunteering. college preparation exercises, educational fields trips and playing sports & games.
